West Heath Primary Care Centre
Making a big visual impact in a small space, this centre has become a local landmark with its bright red entrance canopy contrasting with a feature wall of blue glazed brick.
The illuminated conceptual artwork on the waiting area walls was developed by artists working with local school children and creates a mood of calm, as well as a sense of community ownership.
“Previously the standard of facilities was affecting the level of care we could give our patients. I didn’t even have my own office.” Christine Stanford, Practice Manager
The flexible spaces and variety of new services have seen the GPs attract a growing list of patients. The existing patients and staff appreciate their updated surroundings as well, with the practice’s comments book filled with positive reaction to the change.
