Sparkhill Primary Care Centre is a three storey contemporary health centre occupying a gateway position on one of Birmingham’s main roads.

Innovatively creating space for a number of health services within an extremely tight construction site, spanning less than half an acre on Sparkhill High Street, the centre includes:

• Two GP surgeries
• Dental and nursing facilities
• Out of hospital services such as podiatry, physiotherapy, outpatient services
• Counselling, substance misuse and maternity services
• PCT services

As well as bringing together a range of improved healthcare facilities in one accessible location, Sparkhill Primary Care Centre has been designed to encourage better community engagement.  Bright, vibrant colours help to create a welcoming, non-clinical environment and a number of community artwork pieces generate an atmosphere of ownership and belonging for the local population.
