Birmingham Dental Hospital Site Options & Feasibility Study

Brief
To review existing and new site options within the vicinity of University of Birmingham. Working collectively the health planning and design teams were to guide stakeholders through the site selection process and once concluded to prepare a site specific design brief to RIBA stage B.

Solution
The BaS LIFT Team identified three feasible site options, which when considered in conjunction with financial and timescale issues led to a preferred option. This enabled engagement with landowners and the planning authority with a view to delivering a developable site in due course.

Tight timescale and liaising with a broad range of stakeholders with differing requirements.
